Energetic herbalism.

Practicing in the tradition of energetic herbalism, I use plant-based medicines to bring balance to the body, emotions, and spirit, all in the service of helping individuals work toward their personal healing goals. I specialize in herbal medicine for mental health, stress, anxiety, and depression, in addition to herbs that support gender transition, and remedies that lend resilience to folks in trans, queer, POC, and activist communities. As a medical student and future doctor, I also help translate Western medical diagnoses to holistic action plans. My personal background includes being mixed, chicano, trans, gender nonconforming, and queer, among other identities. I strive to provide herbal health support that is anti-oppressive, kink-, poly-, disability-, sex worker- and fat-friendly, and trauma-informed.

What does it look like to work with me?

You'll have an initial two-hour intake appointment where I review your current health concerns, health history, and personal history. Soon after, you'll receive a one-of-a kind tincture or other herbal medicines, hand mixed just for you, along with additional personalized recommendations, all to help you work toward your health and healing goals. We'll schedule one-hour follow-up appointments every 6 to 8 weeks, or make another follow-up plan that works for you. Appointments can be in person, on the phone, or online.

Intake appointment (2 hours): $200
Follow-up appointment (1 hour): $100
Fees cover our time together during your appointment, as well as time spent reviewing your health profile, planning personalized health recommendations, and formulating your custom herbal formula. It also includes any needed phone and email check-ins between appointments.

Tinctures: $12/oz of herb tincture. You’ll usually get 2 oz ($24) of tincture per appointment.

Affordability and accessibility

The affordability and accessibility of herbal medicine is deeply important to me. It’s also important that my rates support my herbalist community as we build sustainable livelihoods through our clinical herbalism practices. Knowing that these rates are prohibitive for some, I also offer:

  • Four low-income appointments per month, at a rate of $80 for an intake and $40 for a follow-up.
  • Two pay-what-you-can appointments per month, for folks who need to set their own lower rates. (For community organizers, activists, elders, transfemmes, and QTPOC community members in urgent need these appointments can be offered cost-free, along with free herbs.)
  • Trades, such as help with gardening, household/car repairs, foods, and other possibilities.
  • Free consultations at community events (updated @ Upcoming Events).

Please reach out to find out if I currently have low-income/pay-what-you-can appointments available (I often do!), and for trade opportunities.
